this fairground island takes up the leftmost corner of the Market, with great ferris wheels and strange, clockwork covered rides that are dangerously close to breaking down, and yet still fun to ride. strange faces lurk in the shadows of some tents, and the fortune tellers are said to be eerily accurate. it possesses the macabre, panic feeling of fun and danger that all circuses and fairs should.
